Spokane Pickup Truck Crash Sends Vehicle Through Fence Into Backyard, Woman Hospitalized

Spokane, WA (May 26, 2026) — Spokane Police responded Tuesday morning to a crash involving a pickup truck that went through a fence and into a residential backyard near West Wellesley Avenue and North Royal Court.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. when the pickup truck left the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation and crashed through a fence before coming to rest in a backyard.
The driver, a woman, was transported to a local hospital following the crash. Officials with the Spokane Fire Department (SFD) reported that she was conscious and aware after being extricated from the vehicle.
No other individuals were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
