Spokane Valley Motorcycle Crash Kills Rider on Trent Avenue

Spokane Valley, WA (July 23, 2026)– A motorcyclist was killed following a collision with a passenger vehicle Thursday afternoon on Trent Avenue in Spokane Valley, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. on July 23 along Trent Avenue near Milepost 9 on State Route 290. Troopers responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead. Officials have not publicly released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin. Authorities have also not confirmed whether anyone else involved in the collision was injured.

The collision prompted the partial closure of Trent Avenue before officials shut down the roadway between Pines Road and Evergreen Road to allow emergency crews to assist at the scene and conduct their investigation. Motorists were advised to use alternate routes until the roadway reopened at approximately 8:22 p.m.
