Marye has been with Albrecht Law since 2017, specializing in Personal Injury Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University before getting her law degree from Gonzaga University. During college, Marye volunteered in the Attorney General’s office primarily working on child abuse and neglect cases. Following graduation, she worked as a paralegal focusing on Social Security law. During law school, she worked for Albrecht Law as a law clerk, worked for Gonzaga Law as a tutor, clerked for the U.S. District Court (Eastern Washington), and worked as a licensed legal intern at Gonzaga’s Indian Law Clinic. She participated in Gonzaga’s Journal of International Law, the Civil Rights Moot Court Team, and the Moderate Means Program. Even with all these competing obligations, she graduated magna cum laude. Today she serves as a Trustee for the Spokane Young Lawyers Division and as a Representative for the greater Spokane region on the Washington Young Lawyers Committee. Marye is also a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (“WSAJ”) and a part of the WSAJ Court Rules Committee.
As a Spokane native, Marye knows the best places to walk her Great Dane and stop for a great cup of coffee. She also enjoys many of the other things Spokane has to offer such as hiking at Riverside State Park, visiting the latest exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, and, enjoying a glass of Rough Justice at Barrister. When she is not in Spokane, she spends time with family or traveling to her next bucket list destination.
