Albrecht Law Firm Hires Experienced Lawyer to be Its Court & Trial Specialist

SPOKANE VALLEY, Washington — Matthew Albrecht, attorney and founder of Albrecht Law Firm, PLLC, announces the hiring of a new attorney, Andrew Lawhon. Recruited from Vancouver, Washington, part of the greater Portland area, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Albrecht Law Firm, including first-chair trial experience in over 100 jury trials.  Originally recruited by sitting judges to be a judge pro tem — a judge temporarily appointed to serve in place of a regular judge — after serving five years, Andrew agreed to resign his judicial position to take on his new role with Albrecht Law helping the injured in Spokane get justice. Based on his impressive background, Albrecht Law Firm plans to develop his role to be the court and trial specialist.

The amazing quality of life in Spokane Valley, which includes short commute times and the  ability to fly fish and golf at beautiful public golf courses — all within 30 minutes of each other — helped Albrecht Law Firm recruit Andrew. The son of a Vietnamese mother and an Irish father who met in San Francisco, Andrew’s love of horses makes Spokane Valley a better fit than San Francisco or Portland. In addition to his fly fishing and golf hobbies, the devoted husband and father of seven children believes a perfect Saturday afternoon consists of sitting on the porch with a cigar, Scotch, and the family border collie.

Andrew’s wife has also embraced their new home in Spokane Valley, where she has joined a local school as the head of fundraising and private development. She and Andrew originally met when they were undergraduates at Gonzaga University in Spokane.

Andrew looks forward to the new challenge of plaintiff’s work and continuing to help the marginalized. “I knew if I were going to represent people who have been injured, then there would be no one better to learn from than people that have literally written the books on personal injury law and insurance law in Washington State,” he said.
